Site Evaluation and Preparation

Once you have finalized the design or material selections, we will visit the site to confirm that we are on the same page. Hence, everything is clear moving forward.

Permitting and Compliance

This phase is a collaborative effort. When we receive a signed contract, we will work with you to get all required permits, ensuring everything is in place for a smooth construction process.

Construction Phase

After completing the design and permitting phase, we are finally ready to start building your home!

Finishing Touches and Handover

When the project is complete, we will meet with the homeowner to get a punch list to ensure you are thrilled with the finished product.

Choosing the right contractor is critical. Regardless of the project’s size, the quality of the work can make or break the outcome.

Stucco Construction Process

When embarking on a stucco remediation project, we conduct a comprehensive site visit to identify potential issues. If no problems are immediately apparent, we recommend a professional stucco inspection for a thorough evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, we discuss the best solutions for any underlying issues. Our process involves careful demolition of damaged stucco, replacement of water-damaged wood materials, meticulous sealing of the exterior, and precise reinstallation of the stucco, ensuring a high-quality finish.

We install all the proper flashings to avoid future stucco issues. Before installing the stucco, our team seals the exterior, including installing a hydro gap water-resistant barrier and double-layered Jumbo Tex felt paper. Once completed, we install a rain screen, an air barrier, and the last exterior layer before installing the wire lath.

During the stucco process, our employees will be outside for 95% of the time, so at least the home’s interior will be fully intact. The entire process takes 4-6 weeks from start to finish, depending on the house size.

Siding Installation Options

When redoing your siding, you have many options, such as vinyl, fiber cement board, and PVC.

  • Vinyl siding is the cheapest option out of the three.

  • Fiber cement siding is a thicker and more durable material.

  • PVC siding is a low-maintenance option, ideal for homeowners who want a long-lasting and hassle-free siding solution.

Home Remodeling & Renovation Process

Typically, we do remodeling projects, primarily kitchens and bathrooms, but we also do entire home renovations. Kitchens and bathrooms are always different because every homeowner has a distinct taste in style. There are endless tile, cabinets, cabinet knobs, countertops, and appliance selections to tailor to whatever style you like!

Usually, a kitchen or bathroom renovation takes about a month to complete from start to finish, which can be a problem for homeowners. During the renovation process, we will keep as many appliances hooked up as possible so you can access some of your kitchen appliances at your own risk.

During any interior renovation, there will be a good bit of dust in the home, which we will seal off the work area, but sadly, a small amount of dust may get through. The process for a kitchen is about 4-6 weeks from start to finish, and a bathroom is about four weeks, depending on the size. During the bathroom renovation process, as long as you have another one to use, your home is fully functional and disrupted by the work being done, which is a huge bonus!

Custom Home Building Construction

Choosing the right contractor is critical because, no matter the project size, much can go wrong if the work is done poorly. Nobody wants to do a job twice, so do not always think the cheapest contractor will give you the best finished product.

Quality Assurance and Certifications

We do a yearly James Hardie installation course to ensure our employees are properly trained to complete the job. All of our employees are also taught the most updated codes and requirements at the time of the project.

At Kenny Construction, we understand the importance of a safe and clean job site. Many homeowners express concerns about the safety and cleanliness of their property during construction, but we hold our employees to a very high standard. We ensure that our employees clean the job site thoroughly every day before they leave, providing a safe and pleasant environment for you and your family.
